August Gable is a clinical psychologist. He holds an Honours degree in Psychological Science from the University of New South Wales and a Masters of Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University. August has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families who have concerns with anxiety, depression, OCD, AD/HD, challenging child behaviours, conduct problems, addiction, and Autism. He is also trained in cognitive and psychometric assessments for the assessment and diagnosis of specific learning disorders, AD/HD, and Autism.
August’s treatment approach is grounded in the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He is a friendly and caring psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals and families develop new skills to take on the challenges of life.
